Josh Danza attended Archbishop Spalding High School in Baltimore, MD. At Spalding, he was a three-sport student-athlete, lettering in soccer, baseball, and basketball. He was named to the Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association (MIAA) All-Conference Team, the All-Anne Arundel County Team, and Offensive Player of the Year in soccer. Josh's efforts in the classroom as a Principal's Honor Roll student, National Honors Society member, and Tri-M National Honors Society earned him an academic scholarship at Stevenson University. He competed collegiately in soccer, indoor track, and outdoor track, earning NSCAA All-East Region and Conference All-Academic honors. As a Dean's List student-athlete, he graduated early Magna Cum Laude with a B.S. in Business Information Systems & Technology Management. Josh went on to attend Graduate School to pursue a Master's Degree in Information Technology and play NCAA DI soccer at Towson University where he was a finalist for the Scholar-Athlete of the Year Award and team captain.
Josh went on to play professional soccer in the U.S. Throughout his career he has played for teams in Georgia, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Maryland. Josh was first called up to the Puerto Rico Men's National Team in 2012 and most recently in June of 2015 ahead of qualifiers for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia. With his experience and leadership capabilities, Josh has captained many teams that he has played for.
In addition to his playing career, Josh founded Baltimore Pro Soccer, LLC, and is the Chairman of Baltimore Kings Pro Soccer Club. He currently serves as a high school soccer coach at Annapolis Area Christian School, coaches skill-training classes for players of all ages and experience. He is currently ranked the #1 private coach in Maryland (via CoachUp) and holds a coaching license from USSF (United States Soccer Federation), the official governing body of soccer in the United States overseeing the U.S. Men's & Women's National Teams, Professional, and Amateur soccer in the country.
